We’re so excited to announce that The Civic Taproom and Bottle Shop is now offering a Special Preview Weekend!! Come on down and have a drink. We have 12 beers, 6 ciders, and 4 wines on tap. Also, did we mention we have eight doors full bottles from all over the world?! We are located right next to Providence Park at 621 SW 19th Ave just south of W Burnside.
We would like to thank Pacific Crest Construction for getting our taproom finished and looking great. They worked day and night to make sure we were ready for our preview weekend. It was amazing to see the transformation in just three and a half weeks.
“Pacific Crest’s hard work was really impressive,” our co-owner Spencer Raymond said. “They seriously worked their butts off and it shows big time. They were also a pleasure to work with.”
The copper bar top, stainless steel taps, and cambia wood tables make our place look nice and homey. We hope you think so too! We even have USB ports to charge your phone while you’re a drinking a beer and watching a game.
“I always need to charge my phone, so it was a no-brainer to install the USB jacks,” co-owner of the new Portland taproom David Bloom said.
We will be constantly rotating our taps, so you will always have something new to try. We are definitely excited to be a part of the Portland beer community. General Manager Sean Hiatt runs the tap list and bottle selection.
“I can’t wait for our tap list to mature,” Hiatt said. “Once we really start to roll, we’ll have the best beers in the region, and the world, on tap.”
Our Special Preview Weekend continues with Happy Hour from 3-6pm. Don’t forget about all day Happy Hour every Monday and the secret residents-only happy hour all day Tuesday (shhh!!)
